Edit Value attends the 3rd in-person consortium meeting

Edit Value attends the 3rd in-person consortium meeting of the European Project “SHOE 5.0”.
On 16 and 17 January, EDIT VALUE® travelled to São João da Madeira and Porto to take part in the 3rd in-person meeting of the European Project “SHOE 5.0 – Partnership for Footwear Industry 5.0 Readiness”.

The project, co-funded by the European Commission, aims to implement the principles of Industry 5.0 within the European footwear sector, preparing it to embrace the transition towards a sustainable, human-centric and resilient industry, going beyond efficiency and productivity goals in alignment with the European Pact for Skills.

This meeting focused on assessing the development of the Training Needs Diagnostic Tool, which will soon be made available on the project’s website. The consortium also discussed the development of specialised theoretical and practical content, as well as the integration of augmented reality tools into the “SHOE 5.0” training package. Together, these instruments will enhance the technical and social skills required by this Industry 5.0 revolution within the footwear sector.

The project consortium is composed of Edit Value® (Portugal), Centro Tecnológico do Calçado de Portugal (CTCP, Portugal), European Footwear Confederation (Belgium), Centro Tecnológico del Calzado de La Rioja (Spain), Politecnico Calzaturiero (Italy), ByAR (Portugal), and Universitatea Tehnica Gheorghe Asachi Din Iasi (Romania).
